Who we are and what this covers

FitCV is operated by Vizento Labs, LLC. This policy covers the FitCV web app and the FitCV browser extension.

What we collect

Your account: an email address and optional name, managed by our sign-in provider. What you give the product to work with: your resume file and its parsed content, job postings you save or evaluate, the documents FitCV generates for you, your job tracker entries, and your application profile (contact details, links, job preferences). Activity counters: how many evaluations and documents you have used, kept to enforce plan allowances. We do not collect your browsing history.

What the browser extension reads

The extension reads the content of the job posting page you are viewing in order to work: the keyword match is computed on your device, and the posting text is sent to our servers only when you ask for an evaluation or a document. It runs on job pages, does not track the pages you visit, and stores no page content beyond the postings you act on. The extension’s cookie access is limited to our own website’s session cookie, used solely to sign the panel in to your account. Our use of data received from the browser complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Optional self-identification answers

The application profile can hold optional answers to the questions application forms repeat: work authorization, and the voluntary self-identification questions (such as gender, ethnicity, veteran or disability status). Every one is optional, “prefer not to say” is always available, they are used only to fill applications you choose to fill, they are never used for any other purpose, and you can edit or delete them at any time.

Who processes data for us

We use a small set of service providers to run FitCV: an AI provider that processes resume and posting text to produce your evaluations and documents, under terms that do not allow your content to be used for model training; cloud infrastructure that hosts our database and backend; and a sign-in provider that manages authentication. Paid plans are sold through Polar, our merchant of record: Polar receives your email and payment details, and we never see your card. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond these providers.

Deletion and your rights

You can delete your data from the app, or write to us and we will delete your account and everything in it: resumes, postings, documents, tracker and profile. Billing records are retained by Polar as required for tax and accounting. For access, correction or export requests, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Age, changes and contact

FitCV is for people old enough to consent to digital services in their country, and at least 13. If this policy changes materially we will note the new date at the top. Contact: support@fit-cv.co.
